A new notification has been out on everyone’s WhatsApp telling that it’s terms and policies are updated.

Users have until February 8 to accept these new Terms and Condition, and WhatsApp has indicated that users may not be able to access their WhatsApp accounts if they not accept the new Privacy Policy.

The new policy says how user data is impacted when there is interaction with a business on the platform, and provides more details on integration with Facebook, WhatsApp’s parent company.

What data will WhatsApp share with Facebook


WhatsApp share your all data with Facebook. Whatever information WhatsApp automatically collects from you will be shared with Facebook. In This includes your mobile number and basic information you give when you create a WhatsApp account. Also transaction data (WhatsApp now has payments in India), service-related information, mobile device information, and IP address.

Also Share user activity, profile photo, Updated status, etc

“We may utilize the data we get from them, and they may utilize the data we share with them, to help work, give, improve, comprehend, alter, backing, and market our Services and their contributions, including the Facebook Company Products,” WhatsApp says.

Do you have to accept the privacy policy?

If you don’t want to accept new privacy policy from WhatsApp then switch to another services like Telegram, Signal, Hike Etc.
